JV-Relatives is a very comprehensive, efficient and multi-functional GNU GPL based, Joomla! 1.5 plugin, which will list down the links to related articles for the displayed article in Joomla content management systems. It further enhances your website SEO, by displaying the article meta tags in pre-determined positions in the article.

JV-Relatives Features:

• The caption for related articles is configurable at backend
• The related articles will be displayed only when the full article is displayed and not when the intro alone is shown
• Only published articles will be displayed in related articles
• JV-Relatives will ensure that articles which have been saved for publishing in the future are not displayed in related articles
• Intro text can be displayed along with the article title in the related articles list. This is configurable.
• The number of characters that can be displayed for intro text is configurable
• The number of characters that can be displayed for article title is configurable
• Configurable background color of the related items block through plugin parameters section
• Configurable text color of the related items block through plugin parameters section
• Configurable width of the related items block through plugin parameters section
• Search will be based on keyword matches on articles
• Option to include static content for scanning for matching keywords is configurable at backend
• If the displayed article has no metakeys configured, then no related articles will be returned. In such a case, if the admin is logged in at frontend, then display an alert message saying that no metakey is configured for that article. This will help the admin add metakeys immediately.
• Number of related articles to display is configurable at backend
• Admin can decide, the scope of relation with other articles. In other sense, admin can decide, if articles from same category or same section or all articles in the website will be scanned for related content
• Option to hide related articles for articles that are displayed in front-page
• Option to hide related articles for articles whose introtext is only shown
